Tamil Nadu, one of the 29 states of India, is the spiritual centre of India well known for its rich culture and tradition, abundant biodiversity and so on. It covers an area of 130,058 square kilometres with a population of about 72,147,030 as per 2011 India census. This App is meant for reaching out to the people of Tamil Nadu and spreading across the State on the perils of Use and Throwaway Plastics on our Environment.
Plastic, since its invention has changed our lives immensely owing to its versatility, imperviousness to water, low cost, ease of manufacture, long shelf life and so on.
For the said reasons, we gradually started abusing plastic, by depending on it wholly, for every single use, replacing the natural alternatives.
